On Veterans Day, we give honor to veterans of the United States Armed Forces. With 21 million American military veterans, Sagora Senior Living is privileged to be the home of many men and women that have served our nation. During wartime and peace, veterans, you have given not only your time, dedication and effort, but most importantly, your very being to the protection and advancement of this great country.
You have sacrificed a part of your life, forfeiting your freedom to be with loved ones, and exchanging your role as parent, child or spouse for patriot. I have heard many stories from our veteran residents – ones that fill my eyes with tears and my heart with pride – and a single truth runs throughout all accounts: you are all heroes.
I cannot emphasize how noble a gesture it is to dedicate your life to protect people you have never met. Veterans deserve the highest level of respect and gratitude we have to offer, and it is with awe-inspiring dignity that I pay tribute to your selfless act of serving our country.
This Veterans Day, when you spend time in your community or with family, I hope you share your stories to give our residents, associates and your descendants an opportunity to salute you. Our lives would not be the same without your service. If you ever wonder if you’ve made a difference in the world, just look around you. We all enjoy blessings as Americans that have come at a great cost.
We owe you an unspeakable and immeasurable debt of gratitude for protecting and defending our freedom and way of life. You are the best that this country has to offer for upholding the legacy of liberty and democracy. May God continue to bless you.
