Welcome! Thank you for visiting the Lynridge website. My name is Cindy Poetschke, and I am the Executive Director of Lynridge. When you come and visit us at Lynridge, the one thing you may hear our residents say that makes me stand out are my boots!  They love that I wear boots every day. I am originally from Fort Worth, Texas (where the West began!). I love going to rodeos and watching bull riding: My husband and I attend the Fort Worth Professional Rodeo annually. We have four children and ten grandchildren ranging from 23 years to 5 years old. I started working at Lynridge in 2012, but have been in the senior industry since 1998.

I have personally gone through the experience of placing my grandmother in a skilled nursing facility. At the time, I did not know about the various options that were available. After walking down this difficult path, I felt my calling was to help others who are going through this same process. With that said, Lynridge offers a lifestyle that I so desperately wanted my grandmother to experience. Our community offers a lifestyle that so many seniors never dreamed they could experience. We have fun! Every day is filled with laughter and love. We provide a home-like feel. Our residents love engaging activities and meeting new friends.

When you visit our community, you may find yourself greeted by Abbey and Bailey, two Golden Retrievers that happen to belong to me. These two are the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. We call them the “Golden Oldies”, and the residents love being able to see and play with them.

Lynridge’s can’t miss activity is our competitive games of Wii Bowling. We have several bowling teams, and when the bowlers are out, it is not uncommon to hear them celebrating a “STRIKE”!

Our associates are simply the best. They hold fast the core values of placing residents first, and they are also working hard to ensure every single resident’s happiness.

When it comes to favorite dishes, our residents love a good ol’ fashioned hamburger, and stew and corn bread, but they also love it when we have a chef-specialty meal. They can vouch that we have some of the best food in Murphy!

Come and join us for dinner and a tour. We will leave the porch light burning for you!

Sincerely,
Cindy Poetschke
