A+ A A-

LTH1_3ch.jpegWelcome to Waterview’s website. My name is Lynsey Tate, and I am the Executive Director of Waterview – The Point. I am bringing in 2016 fresh since my first day was December 1, 2015.

This is my first time working with seniors. My background is in the multi-family apartment industry. I’m very active in the Granbury community, and have been in the multi-family apartment industry since graduating from the University of North Texas with a BBA in real estate. I am so excited to grow in my career and as a person by helping seniors genuinely enjoy where they live.

I love when the residents invite me into their homes. Getting to know who they are individually is the greatest privilege I have in my work. My favorite activities so far have been the outings to dinner and our wonderful theater. The one, ‘can’t miss’ activity here are the happy hours. No matter your preference, it is an awesome time to mix and mingle with neighbors and associates. Each week it is a time to see the most amounts of faces at one event. We all love it!

Our location is very convenient. You can’t miss us! We are beautifully nestled on the lake, and only blocks from the historic, downtown square. Family members of the residents really enjoy eating together in the dining room when visiting Waterview. Residents also enjoy family time in our beautiful clubhouse overlooking Lake Granbury.

Each associate desires to make our residents feel like they are number one, and they are always placed first in all we do. At the end of each day, the desire of our team is to make life better for every resident that calls Waterview – The Point home. The residents are always bragging on our associates!

Each apartment is a home within a larger home filled with one, big family. We are a community: we check on each other, greet one another, and enjoy spending time learning, relaxing and gathering together. Living at The Point is all about enjoying the view with people you love because lake living is truly the life!

Come experience Waterview for yourself by giving us a call or sending an email to us.

Sincerely,
Lynsey Tate

Welcome,Amy-WV

My name is Amy Kenley and I am the Executive Director of Waterview Assisted Living and Memory Care. Our community is designed to place our residents’ interests first, whether that be in wellness programs designed to fit their needs, food to match their preferences, or in our individualized care services. Our lakeside location offers the best views of serene Lake Granbury and gorgeous sunsets while being incredibly close to our historical downtown square and great shopping.

I joined Waterview in 2012 and have worked with seniors for over 20 years, when I began my career as a CNA while going to nursing school. After graduating, I continued working with seniors and have never left, as this is truly my passion. I’ve lived in Granbury most of my life and I love this town and taking care of its community.

We have an incredible care team that treats our residents like a member of our family. That is what living at our community is all about! We are an extension of our residents’ families. We also have a local physician serving as our Medical Director who specializes in Internal Medicine and has been in practice in Granbury for 30 years.

When you walk into the Assisted Living and Memory Care community at Waterview, you’ll be presented with a warm, family feeling and a great amount of energy from our residents. Some of my favorite activities here are our many games including Minute to Win It, and our sing-a-longs. There’s nothing better than seeing our residents faces light up when signing. Fitness class with Maria is also a hit among our residents. She really encourages them to stay active and do as much of the program as they are able, and they love the music and participation.

I appreciate you visiting our website. Please take a few minutes to look through our resident photos, community events, and services. I hope you come to visit us and meet our team and our residents.

Sincerely,

Amy Kenley
