Meet Our Associates

Each Associate at The Brennity at Tradition has their own inspiration and motivation to help residents maintain physical, emotional or spiritual health. We are proud of them and the work they do to make the community a happy home for our residents.

Meet Chef Sean

Sean was born and raised in Milford, CT. He worked and cooked in restaurants and other food service industries since the age of 16. He also studied Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage Management at South Central Community College.

Of most recent, Chef Sean has been a Culinary Instructor at Virginia College in Fort Pierce, FL where he taught Advance Culinary for the last year. Sean enjoys working with seniors because it was his grandmother who taught him to cook.

Meet Robyn

In 2013, The Brennity associate Robyn joined the team in hopes of wanting to help others and make a difference for those who needed it. Fast-forward to today and Robyn has been excelling at both of her initial hopes!

It is clear that by watching Robyn work and interact with residents that she wants to share her bright spirit and strives to make each resident a cherished friend.

“Robyn is so cheerful and positive! Her great attitude reminds everyone how grateful they are to live in such a happy place like The Brennity at Tradition!”
– The Brennity at Tradition Executive Director Renea McGrath

Meet Karey

Karey, our Lifestyle Director, was born and raised in South Florida (a real native). She loves the sunshine and beautiful days that allow for tons of outdoor fun. Karey found her love of seniors as a young child, volunteering with her Girls Scouts troops, baking cookies and delivering them to her local senior living communities. Through her years in college, she headed up the student lounge and found that she enjoyed creating a fun environment and enriching the lives of those around her. When she first worked as an Activities Assistant at her local skilled nursing community, she felt she found her lifetime career.

In 2013, Karey joined the Brennity at Tradition’s family and has been excited for each new day here. She brought with her over a decade of experience working in senior living communities. Karey also brought her love of music, art, and pancakes. You can find her all over the community bring new experiences and smiles to all of our residents.  Once a month, join Karey for her self-proclaimed (but widely enjoyed) World Famous Pancakes!
