“As of June 25, 2020, we have an associate at the community with a confirmed case of COVID-19. This associate has been quarantined since June 15, 2020, at home away from all of our other associates and residents. We are following the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and taking additional precautions to ensure the health and safety of our associates and residents. Additionally, we are continuing to monitor everyone for an elevated temperature, cough and/or shortness of breath. As of the time of this statement, no additional residents or associates have a possible or positive case of COVID-19. In an abundance of caution, all residents are staying in their apartments for care, service and meals and we will be testing all Assisted Living residents and Assisted Living associates within the coming days. We will be in contact with our community and responsible parties regarding the results upon arrival.
As of April 8, 2020, we began requiring that all associates must always wear face masks when in the community. We will continue to prohibit families, volunteers and non-essential providers from visiting as put into effect on Friday, March 13, 2020. We will continue to post updates as they arise via social media and internal communications with our associates, residents and family members.”
