As of July 31, 2020, we have two Memory Care residents at the community who have tested positive for COVID-19. These residents received their test results at a local hospital and are also receiving care outside of the community.
We are following the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and taking additional precautions to ensure the health and safety of our associates and residents. Additionally, we are continuing to monitor everyone for an elevated temperature, cough and/or shortness of breath.
As of the time of this statement, we are not aware of any other residents or associates with a possible or positive case of COVID-19. We will continue to prohibit families, volunteers and non-essential providers from visiting as put into effect on Friday, March 13, 2020. As of April 8, 2020, we are also requiring all associates and essential visitors to always wear surgical masks and other Personal Protective Equipment when in the community.
We will continue to post updates as they arise via social media and internal communications with our associates, residents and their responsible parties.
