Sagora Announces Three New Communities

Fort Worth based Sagora Senior Living has announced three new communities that they will be opening in 2016 in the cities of Carrollton, TX, and Tulsa and Edmond, OK.

The communities in Tulsa and Edmond, OK will have 143 apartments and 142 apartments, respectively, with both being designated for independent, assisted living and memory care. Edmond, previously listed in the top 100 places to live by Relocate America, is a suburb in close proximity to Oklahoma City while Broken Arrow, a suburb of Tulsa, enjoys a diverse community with two institutions of higher education in Oral Roberts University and University of Tulsa. Residents of the new senior living communities will have the opportunity to “age in place”, which helps them move from one type of service to another without having to leave the community.

The Carrollton community will have 84 assisted living apartments. Sagora Senior Living currently operates Lakeview at Josey Ranch, a Carrollton based senior living community, which provides independent living and will be in close proximity to the new assisted living community. The assisted living community hopes to achieve success similar to Lakeview’s in terms of volunteer opportunities and job growth for the city.

All three new communities will feature memory care services including Sagora’s program Sagora Pathways, which is designed around each resident and includes an individualized culinary program called GRACE Dining and participation in their Cherished Connections program that focuses on recognition, negotiation, collaboration, stimulation, celebration and relaxation.

Sagora Senior Living currently operates 17 independent living, assisted living and memory care communities in Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama and Florida under a ‘Resident First’ philosophy. The company’s mission is to provide a caring environment that fosters wellness, safety and a high quality of life for every resident. To achieve this, Sagora hires only the most qualified industry professionals, implements the most beneficial services and activities, and, most importantly, listens to their residents.
