Memorial Day occurs on the last Monday of May each year as a day dedicated to honoring the men and women who have died while serving in the U.S. military. This day also unofficially marks the beginning of the summer season. Many of our communities celebrated this day with patriotic music, BBQ, friendship and more! - The Brennity at Fairhope in Fairhope, Alabama recognized Memorial Day with a resident-led service, speech, flag-raising and playing of Taps. What a wonderful way to focus on the true meaning of the day!
